about me

Ronak Delaviz

I’m Ronak, a textile designer with a deep love for patterns, materials, and the stories they tell.

My journey began in a graphic arts high school and continued at the University of Art in Tehran, where I earned my Bachelor’s and first Master’s degree in Textile Design. There, I discovered how texture, color, and fabric can speak their own visual language.

For three years, I worked as a textile designer at RNS, an Iranian fashion brand. That experience grounded my creativity in the realities of production and fashion, also showed me how people emotionally connect with what they wear.

While designing fabrics for menswear, I became fascinated by how differently men perceive fashion, their tastes, preferences, and subtle details. This challenge inspired my Master’s thesis on men’s casualwear preferences (ages 25–40, Tehran), which sparked my growing interest in data analysis and fashion marketing.

Today, I’m pursuing my second Master’s in Fashion Studies – Marketing & Management at the University of Bologna in Italy, where I explore how creativity and strategy come together to shape the fashion industry.

I work fluently with Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, and Procreate, and love turning ideas into tangible designs.

For me, textile design is more than creating patterns, it’s about bridging design and marketing, where aesthetics, analysis, and brand storytelling come together.
